Modern Orthodox Judaism (also Modern Orthodox or Modern Orthodoxy) is a movement within Orthodox Judaism that attempts to synthesize Jewish values and the observance of Jewish law with the secular, modern world. Finally, the MO community is struggling with its economic status and the implications of material culture. While there are huge differences in dress code from modern-orthodox Jewish women to ultra-orthodox Jewish women, they both won't expose their body parts besides their face and hands. In modern times, the term has become more frequently used with regard to the rules of dress for women within Judaism. I've come to consider the dress code to be part of the package of being an observant Jew, even if I don't always agree completely with how it fits modern times or my life.
